History Internship Program Applications Open

Apply now for the Fall 2019 course "HIST 197: History Internship Program". Info session: April 30th, 3:00pm in KH 200E.

Applications are now open for History 197: History Internship Program. This 4-unit elective course pairs you with a local internship site for the Fall 2019 quarter. In previous years, students have interned at the UCI Library, the Journal of Asian Studies, UCI Illuminations, the UCI History Project, the Sherman Library & Gardens, with local schools, and more! All continuing students who want to see how history is used outside of a college classroom and gain experience for future job or graduate school applications should apply.

Details:
  • This one application qualifies you for internships in many fields, including libraries, museums, K-12 schools, academic research, and more.
  • Commitments: 10 hour/week internship and weekly class meeting on Mondays at 12:00pm.
  • Course: History 197, 4-units of elective credit.
  • Apply at bit.ly/historyintern. Application will only open if you are logged in to your uci.edu account. Have a resume prepared to upload.
  • Deadline: Sunday, May 5th at 11:59pm
