AE Academic Coordinator Neda Sahranavard wins 2020 TESOL and CATESOL awards
AE Academic Coordinator Neda Sahranavard was named the 2020 TESOL Teacher of the Year and awarded the 2020 CATESOL Gail Weinstein Teacher Recognition Award.
The TESOL Teacher of the Year Award is designed to recognize and honor exceptional English language teachers at all levels, with only one award given each year. This award is based on an international competition (past winners of this award have come from the U.S., Canada, Israel, and Korea).Links:

adult ESL practitioner who has demonstrated leadership, creativity, and dedication to learner-centered

The award honors Gail E. Weinstein, creator of the pedagogical framework Learners’ Lives as
Curriculum and author of many textbooks, including Stories to Tell our Children, who died in 2010.
