Join Gender & Sexuality Studies students, faculty, friends, and allies for a discussion on the recent federal attacks on trans, intersex, gender non-normative, and non-binary people. Moderated by Jennifer Terry, Professor and Chair of Gender & Sexuality Studies.

Opening remarks by Christoph Hanssmann, Assistant Professor of Women and Gender Studies at San Francisco State University and current University of California Humanities Research Institute Fellow. Hanssmann researches and teaches at the intersections of trans, feminist, and science and technology studies, and his work has appeared in Transgender Studies Quarterly, and in the edited collections Trans Bodies, Trans Selves and Transfeminist Perspectives In and Beyond Transgender and Gender Studies.
