Congratulations FMS Student and Roston Award winner Corey Nguyen. His film Querer es Poder was selected to the Official Latino Film and Arts Festival, sponsored by HBO Latino. This film was produced in the Digi FilmMinor
"Querer es Poder" is a documentary shot in Paraguay about sustainable education and the adversity many of the indigenous youth in Paraguay looking to reach a higher education. Corey was both the director and cinematographer. Part of his work was also documenting the work of the Global Service Scholars from the School of Social Ecology.
