There are hundreds of popular, influential, or otherwise notable films that many of us haven’t actually ‘gotten around to seeing yet.’ The Essential Film series provides students with opportunities to catch up on the canon, or to revisit classics they may not have seen in a theater setting. Watching these films on the big screen with other students will help to foster a film-loving culture. Screenings are free and open to all (not only Film & Media Studies majors!)
