The 19th annual Zotfest Film Festival was held on Saturday, June 2.

12 films were nominated and screened, including Biking Down Memory Lane by Theone Ly, Paper Cranes by Jayleen To, The Book of Pies by Angel David Ochoa, Classic Dany by Theone Ly, and Wastelands by Tom Forte.

Special congratulations go to this year’s winners:
  • Making Friends by Amanda Le won an Honorable Mention.
  • To Let Go by Lloyd Ea won Best Sound Design.
  • Cycles by Leatrice Ching won Best Editing.
  • Freeze Gun by Ryan Gonzales won Best Screenplay.
  • Alyssa Corella won Best Peformance for her work in The Real Me by Isaiah Walk.
  • I See Red by Leatrice Ching and Alexander Dunn won Best Cinematography, Best Director, and the People’s Choice Award.
  • Ignat, Nanay (Take Care, Mom) by Joanne Eileen Ducot won the Golden Anteater.
