Film and Media Studies students are all encouraged to sign up for our department's faculty advising during Welcome Week. This is an excellent opportunity meet a new faculty member or reintroduce yourself to an old one. This meeting is one of the best opportunities to go over degree requirements, learn about graduate school and research, internships and careers in the film/television/media industries, and research opportunities in our department. If you think you'll ever need a letter of recommendation in the future, this is a tremendous opportunity to begin that relationship. These appointments are truly useful for students at every academic level. Faculty advising is only held during Welcome Week so don't miss your opportunity to sign up.

Faculty advising will be held on from Tuesday, September 26 through Thursday, September 28. Individual advising sessions are expected to last around 15 minutes. Not all faculty members will be available at all times. If you need additional time or if you would like to meet with multiple faculty members, you will need to schedule that separately.
