Event Details

The graduate students at the Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures would like to invite you to our final film screening for the spring quarter. The film screening is free, and will be followed by refreshments and a short discussion.

The film screening is on Tuesday (5/30) at 5:00pm in Humanities Gateway (HG) 1010. We will be screening: The Cock and Bull (2016, Dir. Cao Baoping, China).

Synopsis: The Cock and Bull takes place in a small town in Southeast China. When a murder occurs, a local mechanic, known for his honesty, comes under suspicion. When the police target him to take the fall, he’s forced to try and exonerate himself, uncovering a number of disturbing facts, most much bigger than the initial crime.
We hope to see you all there!

Sincerely,

Graduate students of East Asian Languages and Literatures
