The Ph.D. Program in Culture and Theory, along with the Ph.D. Program in Drama and the Humanities Center, are pleased to bring Joseph Roach, Professor of English and African-American Studies and the Sterling Professor of Theatre from Yale University to UCI. His talk, entitled "The First Appearance of Second Life: Shakespeare in the Deep Eighteenth Century" will be the third in the Culture and Theory Lecture Series of 2008/2009.
