Edward R. Curammeng is an Assistant Professor in the Teacher Education Division at California State University, Dominguez Hills. His research examines the relationship between Ethnic Studies and education in shaping the experiences of students and teachers of color. He received a PhD in education at University of California, Los Angeles and an MA in Asian American studies from San Francisco State University where he taught with Pin@y Educational Partnerships (PEP). He is also a member of the People's Education Movement.
