[Postponed] From I-Ching to Manga: UCI's East Asian Collection Celebrating 30 Years

In an abundance of caution and to ensure social distancing during the COVID-19 outbreak, this event has been postponed.

The UCI Libraries announce the opening of a new exhibit, "From I-Ching to Manga: UCI's East Asian Collection Celebrating 30 Years." This exhibit celebrates the thirty year anniversary of the establishment of the East Asian Collection – highlighting treasures from the past.

The exhibit opening speaker will be Yong Chen, professor of history, who will share how he uses the UCI East Asian Collection in research. In addition to doing research and teaching history, Chen is the School of Humanities' Associate Dean of Curriculum and Student Services and author of Chop Suey, USA: The Story of Chinese Food in America.

"From I-Ching to Manga: UCI’s East Asian Collection Celebrating 30 Years" will open Tuesday, April 14, 2020 and will be on display in Langson Library during regular library hours until Fall 2020.

5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. -  Program, Roger C. Holden Faculty and Graduate Student Reading Room

6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. - Exhibit Viewing and Reception, Muriel Ansley Reynolds Gallery
