Come and hear from academic experts, leading industry analysts, and student-athletes about the current state of eSports!

UC Irvine, the first public research university to launch an eSports arena and student-athlete scholarships, is hosting a full day eSports Symposium on Friday, May 19th, 2017, in The Cove on the UC Irvine campus.
Keynote speaker: TL Taylor (MIT) - other speakers include Khaila Amazan-Hall (UCI eSports), Tom Boellstorff (UCI), Kathy Chiang (UCI eSports), Mark Deppe (UCI eSports), Ryan Griswold (UCI eSports), Chris Haskell (Boise State U), Patrick Lemieux (UC Davis), Michael Pachter (Wedbush), Kurt Squire (UCI), Constance Steinkuehler (UCI), Loc Tran (UCI eSports).

Registration for this event is required - free and open to the public. Lunch and coffee will be provided to all registered attendees. Please register early - we have limited seating and expect to fill to capacity quickly!

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is limited parking in front of the building, but UCI parking lot 82 nearby is designated for UCI staff and students, as well as overflow.
