UTeach Workshops and open application period

UTeach  is a program at UCI that allows undergraduate students to design, develop, and teach their own lower division seminar. Learn more about the program, attend a workshop and application link can be found here.

Application deadline: Friday, June 4 at 11:55pm PST.

Information sessions include an overview of the program, the application process, and  a forum for students to ask questions about UTeach. The information sessions will be hosted on zoom on:

Tuesday, April 27 at 5pm PST
Thursday, April 29 at 2pm PST
Thursday, May 6 at 6pm PST
Friday, May 7 at 9am PST

Current UTeach courses -- taught by students from a diverse set of majors -- include such topics as Heartbreak Narratives: Broken Hearts in Poetry and Lit, Indie Video Games, What are Lasers?, The History and Philosophy of Cancer, Psychedelic Humans and the War on Consciousness, and. D&D: Roleplay, Characterization, and Representation, In past years, students have taught courses on topics like Mariachi, Spoken Word Poetry, Women and the French Revolution, The Veil in Iran, Plants and People, and Theories of Improv.
