The 1977 National Women's Conference: Film Watch Party and Discussion
In 1977, 20,000 women from across the U.S. and the world gathered in Houston, Texas, to define a national women's agenda. A team of students, alums, and faculty at the CSU Sacramento, UC Irvine, and UCSD have been researching the 96 delegates and 5 alternates who were elected to represent the state of California at the National Women's Conference.
Join us to watch a one hour documentary about the NWC and to discuss the significance of the conference. The documentary is entitled: "A Question of Choice" and is available at this website: https://texasarchive.org/2013_02597
