Daniel S. Chard is a Visiting Assistant Professor of History at Western Washington University and author of Nixon’s War at Home: The FBI, Leftist Guerrillas, and the Origins of Counterterrorism (forthcoming September 2021, University of North Carolina Press). He co-edited Science for the People: Documents from America’s Movement of Radical Scientists (University of Massachusetts Press, 2018), and his work has appeared in Jacobin, Washington Post, Radical History Review, and The Sixties.
