Join us in conversation with an incredible scholar and artist, Dr. Jaye Austin Williams, about their experience as a Black scholar and their upcoming book. Dr. Jaye's wide efforts within the study and creation of theatre encompasses a vast study into the Black Queer experience.

Artistry is, among other things, the alchemy of passion, rigorous thought, and their application to practice. To theorize, teach, direct, write, act and lend critical perspective to others' practices is artistic engagement at its most vibrant. -- Jaye Austin Williams
