Mitsuye Yamada Poetry Reading and Book Signing

Mitsuye Yamada and Full Circle

In partnership with the UCI Libraries, the UCI Humanities Center is pleased to invite you to a poetry reading and book signing with author, women of color feminist, and human rights activist Mitsuye Yamada. Known for her writings about Japanese American internment, Mitsuye Yamada was a former UCI Assistant Professor in Asian American Studies. 

An accompanying exhibition that features Mitsuye Yamada’s material from UCI Libraries Special Collections & Archives will be on display in the OC&SEAA

Book signing following the program. Bring your own copy, or purchase a copy of Full Circle: New and Selected Poems at the event.
