“Unreal Realities: A Reading and Author Talk with Jordy Rosenberg, author of Confessions of the Fox"
Wednesday, April 17th
HG 1030
5-6:30pm
Sponsored by: Illuminations, Gender and Sexuality Studies, English, Critical Theory

Described by reviewers as “a sexy queer love story,” an “action-adventure tale with postmodern touches,” and “a mind-bending romp through a gender-fluid eighteenth century London,” Jordy Rosenberg’s 2018 Confessions of the Fox is a moving, funny, rowdy speculative-historical novel full of sex, philosophy, and revolution. A transgender writer and scholar, Jordy Rosenberg teaches eighteenth-century transatlantic literature at University of Massachusetts Amherst. For this event, he will be reading from his novel and discussing the “unreal realities” of queer history and political theory that inspired it.
