Humanities Faculty Learning Community presents

Teaching 2021: A New Virtual World?
In partnership with the Division of Teaching Excellence and Innovation, the SOH is sponsoring a Faculty Learning Community for a third year. We invite faculty at all ranks and post-doctoral scholars to engage in reading, conversations, and practical applications of teaching.

Our community will use Small Teaching Online by Flower Darby and James Lang as a starting point to discuss how we transfer our pedagogy from the classroom to the remote/online space. However, this is just a place to begin and we’ll continue discussion around teaching challenges, share approaches that have worked in our classes, and provide supportive feedback on teaching materials. Our community will decide what other activities or support we can offer whether it’s to provide feedback, organize teaching observations, or develop research.  Active participation in the FLC can constitute part of your teaching materials for the merit process.

If you’re interested in participating, please respond on this form.
