A Discussion of Anti-Black Racism in the Arts with Dr. Matthieu Chapman: A Three Part Series

For three Fridays, Oct. 9th, Oct. 23rd, and Oct. 30th, from 3-5pm, Dr. Matthieu Chapman will be discussing what it means to be Black in a world brimming with anti-Black racism.

In this series, Dr. Chapman will break down how Black people experience racism in arts education and the classroom as well as the various types of micro and macro aggressions done intentionally and unintentionally toward Black people. For all people of color and those interested in the history of Black people working to thrive in a systemically anti-black environment, this is a must see event.
