A collection of essays based on the annual meeting of the
Western Humanities Alliance is published each fall in a special
edition of the Western Humanities Review.
The Western Humanities Review is an internationally distributed
literary and scholarly journal sponsored by the University
of Utah’s Department of English. In its 60 years of continuous
publication, WHR has featured work by some of America’s most
distinct voices: Wallace Stegner, Robert Oppenheimer, Ann
Beattie, Ursula Le Guin, Raymond Carver, and many others.
