How to Petition for Spanish 10A/B
(Advanced Composition)

To petition Spanish 10A/B, students need to fill out a goldenrod "Humanities Undergraduate Student Petition" form that can be obtained at the Undergraduate Humanities Dean's Office (HIB 143).

Upon completion of the form the student should

(1)   take the form to the Spanish Department (main office in Hum. Hall 322), and ask the secretary at the front desk to place the form in Prof. Schwegler's mailbox (note that the office is closed from 12-1 daily). 

(2)   attach their phone number and e-mail address to the FRONT of the form (put this information on a separate piece of paper).

(3)    e-mail Prof. Schwegler <aschwegl@uci.edu> that you have dropped off the form at the Spanish Department.

Prof. Schwegler (Director of Undergraduate Studies) will then contact the student. Once the petition has been approved, the student will then take it back to the Undergraduate Humanities Dean's Office (HIB 143) for final processing.
