The conference includes special events, including film screenings and book presentations. Events are free of charge.

Thursday, April 29th
7:30 pm, HIB 100: Screening of Perfume de violetas, followed by a panel discussion.

Friday, April 30th
12 pm, Monarch Bay A: Book presentation, Los Dolientes, by Professor Jacobo Sefamí from the Spanish and Portuguese department. Refreshments will be served.

4:30 pm, Monarch Bay A: Book presentation, Lo anterior by Cristina Rivera Garza, author of Nadie me verá llorar.
