Bahram Badiyi

Brooks College

Bahram Badiyi received his Bachelor and Master in Architecture and Urban Design from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles . Since 1986 he has been a practicing architect as well as educator and has designed numerous buildings and projects across the United States of which several have been published internationally. He has served as the Department Chair for Architecture, Construction and Industrial Design for the College of the Canyons in Southern California . Currently he teaches at prestigious design school of Brooks College in Long Beach California .

He has studied and extensively researched various aspects of the culture related to Sasanian Iran and has written extensively on the subject matter. History of Sasanian Copper Coinage is the first volume of two volumes set comprising his collected research and writing in this field that will be published by Mazda Publication in June of 2004. Currently he is working on his book about the “Sasanian Building Typology” which is promised to be published by 2007.
