Humanities Gateway 1070 (McCormick screening room).
This 1936 film (65 min) was directed by Fred Zinnemann and Emilio Gómez
Muriel, and shot by Paul Strand. The film music (focus of the talk by
Prof Saavedra, chair of the music dept at UC Riverside) was composed
by Silvestre Revueltas, an important Mexican composer of the first
half of the 20th century.
