Michael Arda Karakash is a 2013 graduate of UC Irvine with a degree in Literary Journalism and a minor in African-American Studies. He is currently living in Santiago, Chile, trying to absorb as much literature, film, language and life as he can. His love of writing and documentary photography have led him all over South America, feeding his curiosity while challenging his understanding of what it really means to be a storyteller. Michael is on that all-too-familiar post-graduate path of uncertainty, but he knows that wherever he ends up, writing will always be right there with him.
