Jason Davis

Davis

Jason Davis is a combat veteran, automotive journalist, and fine art photographer. After serving in the active Army for five years, including two combat tours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Jason returned to school under the Post 9-11 GI Bill, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Literary Journalism from UC Irvine. Upon graduating, Jason began his career as an automotive journalist and photographer for Automotive.com, a consumer brand under the
Motor Trend Auto Group. In his spare time, Jason is passionate about black and white film photography, local microbreweries, hiking the Sierra Nevadas, and goofing around with his two children and wife of ten years.

The story behind the story: This story is about war, and the war at home. It's about camaraderie and relationships, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. It's about surviving and quittin g-- but also, remembering and thinking and dreaming, and crying and helping and failing, too. Most of all, it's for Brian, and others like him, that those like me may see the signs sooner.
