Mohammed Shariff
Mohammed Shariff is a fourth-year Literary Journalism major who is also considering a second major in Film and Media studies. He is half of JET-LAGGED Magazine along with co-editor Charisma Madarang. Shariff transferred to UC Irvine last year from Northern California and joined kiosk to further develop his magazine publishing skills and to get the chance to read his fellow majors’ frabjous work. After his stint at UCI, he intends to go to graduate school, preferably in New York. He takes that back -- only in New York! His long-term plan/dream for now anyway is to be a professor and an editor for Vogue, but Vogue more so. He is teaching a class at UC Irvine in the spring quarter on the South Asian Diaspora in film and encourages everyone to please sign up.
