Patricia Pierson
 Patricia Pierson is the assistant director of the Literary Journalism program. She completed a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature in 2005. Her dissertation, Secret Agents: Identity, Detection, and the Question of Narrative Authority, explored the concept of the author in fiction, nonfiction, and contemporary art. Her research and teaching interests include psychoanalysis, the contemporary novel, and nonfiction life writing, including memoir and autobiography.
