MacArthur Fellow and novelist Colson Whitehead closes the first year of the series with this final reading. Whitehead has been named a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, the National Book Critics Circle Award, the PEN/Hemingway, and the Los Angeles Times Fiction Award. The author of four acclaimed works, including The Intuitionist and John Henry Days, his reviews, essays, and fiction have appeared in The New York Times, The New Yorker, Harper’s and Granta. His latest novel, Sag Harbor, was just released in April and has been well-received by the NY Times and the LA Times.
