World Cities 07-08

With an emphasis on World Cities, the UC Irvine History Department inaugurates its community lecture series featuring some of the department's most engaging and distinguished scholars and teachers.  This years series focuses on several of the world's great cities: Capetown, Tel Aviv, Bombay and Paris. The UCI History Department has an international reputation for scholarship and teaching in World History and this lecture series provides a forum to showcase faculty research and engage in conversations with a larger public who share a passion for history.
