About the Program
The Teaching American History Program at the CH/SSP provides K-12
history/social science teachers in Orange County with advanced professional
development in U.S. history. The Program offers teacher-training institutes
each year for local professionals who are interested in expanding and
refining their history curriculum to best address district and state
examinations and reflect the most innovative and recent work in the
field of U.S. history.
