Frequently Asked Questions

When is the conference & what if I have class?
The conference is Thursday, May 17th. The event will go throughout most of the day and students are not expected to be there the entire day. I will work with their class and work schedules to make sure there is not a conflict with their presentation.

What students are eligible to apply?
Undergraduate students from any major and any class level are welcome to apply. Students who graduated before Fall 2017 are not eligible.

Does the research need to be from a class project?
No, student research can come from a class, extracurricular project or something they have been researching on their own.

What ways can students present their work?
Students may present their research through a 10-minute oral presentation or with a visual display. Visual displays can be posters, scrapbooks, digital displays, dioramas, etc. We are open to nearly any form of creative display!

How can students get more information?
