Daniella McCahey has received a research grant-in-aid from the American Institute of Physics, Center for the History of Physics to do research in the UK this Fall for her dissertation: "Extreme Environments and the Production of Scientific Knowledge: Antarctica and the International Geophysical Year."

She also received a fellowship from the East Asia and Pacific Summer Institute, funded jointly through the National Science Foundation and the Royal Society of New Zealand in order to spend the summer in New Zealand for dissertation research and to "collaborate in the exchange of science and technology knowledge and understanding."
