Audio Visual Resources
HIRC Audio Visual Services are reserved for the benefit of Humanities
courses and limited to the HIRC's standard hours of operation (Monday-Friday
8am-6pm). All equipment is available on a "will call" basis-
that is for pick up and return by the instructor or a designated
student to and from HH 269.
AV equipment can be ordered through email or by filling out our online request form.
Reservations for AV equipment
must be made with at least 48 hours notice. Please contact
us as soon as possible in the event you do not need your equipment.
Before checking out HIRC AV equipment, please read our policies.
For after hours equipment requests (after 6:00pm, weekends, breaks
and Summer), contact Classroom Technology Support at 824-5128.

| Pocket size video camera, 60 minute recording time on internal hard drive.
| Mini-DV Digital Camcorder
| Digital video camcorder that uses mini-dv tapes available for use by faculty and staff. Departments are responsible for providing their own mini-dv tapes, available for purchase at the UCI bookstore.
| Tripod
| We have three tripods that are available for use with either the mini-dv camcorders, flip video camera, or the VHS camcorder.
| Multi-region DVD Player
Pioneer DV-393
| Multi-region DVD player that will play all regional DVDs (Regions 0-6). Availability: Can be used in any SMART classroom or conference room in the Humanities Quad (HIB, MKH, HOB2, HH, and HICF Trailers)

AIWA AGW1
| AIWA AGW1 Used to play videos in other than US-standard. (NTSC is US standard. Other standards include PAL and SECAM and other variations.) Availability: can be used in all classrooms in the Humanities quad and in smart trailers.
