Vacaction Reply Message

When you are on vacation or out of the office for a lengthy period of time, you may want to auto-respond to those who send you email. If you have a E4E account, you can use this program:

http://www.nacs.uci.edu/email/options/index.php

If you are still on benfranklin, you can use this program to send your reply:

https://www.humanities.uci.edu/webmail/src/login.php

Note: If you cannot login to the School of Humanities webmail with your email address and password, you do not have a benfranklin email address. Most likely, you are with EEE and you must setup vacation forwarding on that server.

Once you have successfully logged into webmail, go to Options, Vacation Message. Follow the directions on the screen.

If you have questions regarding which email server you are on, go to:

http://www.uci.edu/cgi-bin/phonebook

and select 'extended format' and then enter your name. In the 'email' field, you will see your full email address. The part immediately after the @ sign is your email server.

An alternate way to create a vacation reply message for Benfranklin users:

If you have trouble using the webmail forwarding system, try this:
