When
you are on vacation or out of the office for a lengthy period
of time, you may want to auto-respond to those who send you email.
If you have a E4E account, you can use this program:
http://www.nacs.uci.edu/email/options/index.php
If you are still on benfranklin, you can use this program to send your reply:
https://www.humanities.uci.edu/webmail/src/login.php
Note: If you cannot login to
the School of Humanities webmail with your email address and
password, you do not have a benfranklin email address. Most likely,
you are with EEE and you must setup vacation forwarding on that
server.
Once you have successfully logged
into webmail, go to Options, Vacation Message. Follow the directions
on the screen.
If
you have questions regarding which email server you are on,
go to:
http://www.uci.edu/cgi-bin/phonebook
and select 'extended format'
and then enter your name. In the 'email' field, you will see
your full email address. The part immediately after the @ sign
is your email server.
