Adding the UCI Directory to Eudora

PC Setup

1. In Eudora, go to the Tools, Directory Services menu.
2. On the right side of the screen, under 'Protocols', Registered Drivers, highlight/select 'PH'
3. Press the 'New Database' button.
4. For the 'General' Tab, under 'Server Name' enter: UCI-PH Directory
5. Under 'Server Setup', enter: qi.uci.edu
6. Make sure the Port is: 105
7. Press Ok.
8. It will add 'UCI Directory' to the list of databases.
9. With your cursor, check the box next to the 'UCI Directory' (the one you just created), so it is checked.

You should now be able to search for specific people at UCI.

MAC Setup

For Mac users you'd go to Special->Settings and then Hosts and in the section that says "Directory Services", enter qi.uci.edu for the "Ph/LDAP server
