Education Abroad

The University of California offers, as part of its large and successful Education Abroad Program (EAP), numerous options for Study Abroad in Germany. EAP has programs for all levels of language competency from absolute beginner to advanced student, for undergraduates and for graduate students.

Program locations include Goettingen, where the UC Study Center for Germany is located; Bayreuth, which offers a unique Intercultural German Studies program for students in their second year of language study; and Berlin, where EAP has programs at the Free University, The Technical University, Humboldt University and in nearby Potsdam at the University of Potsdam. EAP is solely intended for UC students and the courses students take abroad automatically earn them UC credit.

In addition to EAP programs, the Center for International Education has information on programs connected to other institutions and will advise you on applying for those programs and receiving UCI credit for courses taken through them.
