GFE student Annie Wilkinson received honorable mention in this year's Sylvia Forman's prize for best graduate student paper awarded by the Association for Feminist Anthropology. Annie wrote her paper, “Cleanliness is Holiness: The Transnational Ex-Gay Movement and 'Dehomosexualization' in Ecuador,” for GSS 200b. The award committee praised her work for mixing beautifully ethnography and feminist theory to think critically about the political economy of transnational evangelical movements.
