The University maintains 862 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments in
Verano Place for graduate students who are married, are single parents,
or are at least 25 years of age. 204 units are available at Palo Verde
for graduate students and post-doctoral researchers. 60 units are
available for first-year graduate students in the Quenya residence hall.
ISHI, a student-run coop, manages a building in Verano Place with 10
two-bedroom apartments that are open to graduate students. You can find
details regarding these and other new housing for graduate students here.
Housing is also available in the surrounding area. Many students take
advantage of the 9 month rentals to be found in nearby beach communities.
Traditional year-round rentals are also easily obtained.
