2013年日本語3年生春学期
学期プロジェクト: 小説を楽しもう!

Rational:
This is the last Quarter of Advanced-Level Japanese series (JPN 3A-B-C).  In the fourth year Japanese classes (JPN101A-B-C), you will be reading the original literary works.  As preparation for that, this Quarter, you will be reading short novels where the stories remain the same but the language is altered for the language learners.  You will pick short novels of your interest, write summaries and critiques, select a scene, and perform in class.

Quarter Schedule:
Week 2: Form a group of three or four.
Week 3-8 Mondays: Start reading the first novel. Submit 3 summaries and critiques (minimum 15 sentences per entry). The booklets are on course reserve.
Week 9 Monday: Inform the instructor which scene to perform.
Week 10 Wednesday and Thursday: Perform the scene in order to encourage your classmates to read the literary work that you enjoyed.
