Center for Asian Studies - The Center for Asian Studies was established to enhance the study of the many countries and cultures of Asia at UCI and to provide a forum for discussions across geographic and disciplinary boundaries both within UCI and in the larger community.
Critical Theory Institute - An interdisciplinary, collaborative research group with faculty members comprising various departments in the humanities and social sciences.
Dr. Samuel M. Jordan Center for Persian Studies and Culture - The Center, established by the School of Humanities in collaboration with the Clair Trevor School of the Arts, is dedicated to drawing on the strengths of the entire UCI campus. It will serve as a resource for the research, instruction and celebration of Persian history and culture.
Film and Video Center - This goal of this state-of-the-art screening facility is to provide diverse and challenging programming, spanning a range of genres, nations and cultures, and historical periods.
Humanities Center - The Humanities Center fosters intellectual dialogue between the faculty and students of UC-Irvine and the non-academic communities of Orange County and the greater Los Angeles area. Our goal is to promote a wide range of interdisciplinary work in the humanities, and to facilitate the sharing of that work with audiences beyond and between the disciplinary units that we represent.
Humanities Research Institute - Widely recognized nationally and internationally, the HRI promotes collaborative work by teams of researchers representing different fields and institutions both within and beyond the University of California.
International Center for Writing and Translation - The ICWT, as its name implies, envisions conversation among languages, cultures and disciplines as key in the emerging multicultural global community.
