The UCEAP exchange program in South Korea offers fascinating experiences to its students such as trips to the DMZ, Jeju Island, and Busan. Study abroad allows you to boost your resume through opportunities to take unique classes, intern, or volunteer, while at the same time gaining first-hand cultural experiences and making remarkable memories. Programs are offered for the summer, fall, spring, or full year.

Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures
The main countries of focus for the department are Korea, China, and Japan. However, topics of study extend to whole East Asian region and the international issues involving these countries.

Korea Law Center
The purpose of the Korea Law center is to find solutions to issues involving U.S. and Korean law. The Korean Law Center was established to serve as a platform for knowledge transfer, exchange and collaborations between students, legal scholars, judges, prosecutors, policy makers, and lawyers from South Korea and the United States.

Korean American Student Association (KASA)
Student Organizations at UCI
The Korean American Student Association promotes involvement in the social, academic, political, and community service aspects of the Korean American community. The goal is to create a friendly, comfortable, and fun environment for Korean American students.

Hansori strives to preserve traditional Korean culture through the practice of traditional Korean drumming, known as Poongmul. Students can come to learn more about heritage and traditional culture while promoting cultural awareness.

Korean Pre-Health Association (KHA)
The Korean Pre-Health Association was established to accomplish goals such as offering assistance and consultation to students regarding their future education/career goals, enabling students to help one another reach their goals, and building life-lasting friendships.

Liberty in North Korea (LiNK)
Liberty in North Korea Rescue Team at UCI is a chapter of a non-profit organization that advocates for North Korean human rights. The UCI LiNK Rescue Team works to raise awareness of the North Korean human rights crisis and raise funds to help rescue North Korean refugees living in vulnerable situations in China.
