The Dept of Comparative Literature is happy to announce that Emma Heaney has accepted a position as tenure-track Assistant Professor of English at William Patterson University, NJ. She will be teaching modernism and feminist studies and starting an interdisciplinary LGBT minor. Emma received her Ph.D. from Comparative Literature in 2012, working with Dina al-Kassim (Chair), Annette Schlichter and Jennifer Terry. Since then, Emma has been a Draper Fellow and Visiting Assistant Professor of Gender Studies at NYU.
