Founded in 2010, Trans-Scripts is a student-run and edited interdisciplinary journal in the humanities and social sciences at UC Irvine. Its editorial collective consists of graduate students who specialize in a diverse range of academic fields, including English, Anthropology, History, Critical Theory, Comparative Literature, Political Science, Women’s Studies, African-American Studies, Criminology, and Philosophy. The inaugural issue was published in February, 2011. Each issue has a special theme; the theme of the current issue (Spring 2013) is “Thinking Activism.” See the Submissions page for more detailed information about contributing to our journal. We welcome submissions from graduate students in the humanities, social sciences, and law. All submissions will be reviewed by students and faculty to ensure the highest quality of work. Though primarily a forum for student work, faculty contributions are welcome. Past contributors include Étienne Balibar, Hortense Spillers, Lee Edelman, and Roderick Ferguson. ISSN: 2160-6730 |
