There's always something happening at UCI in the Department of Art History, in Art History classes, and with the Art History Undergraduate Association.

Past Quarter's Activities: Professor Massey's Fall 2015 students developed a website, Art Under Assault, focusing on some of the monuments and archaeological treasures that are most vulnerable in the world today.

Professor Patel arranged a behind-the scenes tour for AHUA members and Art History students at the Getty fall 2015 and provided the campus community and partners with the rare opportunity to see  ancient sculpture on campus from Kushan Empire, patrons of Greco-Roman artistic legacies &  link between Indic & Iranian worlds with a viewing of Kushan  Empire Sculpure (1st-4th centuries CE).

Professor Winther-Tamaki took time from his fellowship work to meet with Art History students in Art History classes Winter 2016 at the Getty Center and treat them to a private tour and lecture on Japanese photographer Ishiuchi Miyako
