Deadline Friday, January 19th at 5pm for Art History Paid Internship at the Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens to work with James Glisson, Bradford and Christine Mishler Associate Curator of American Art. A $2,000 stipend for 120 hours of work will be awarded to the intern selected.

The intern will conduct research for two exhibition catalog projects in addition to other assigned duties, including acquisition research and blogpost/s for the Huntington’s website. Some of the work can be done remotely at the UCI library. Begin your internship spring quarter and continue during the summer (time frame is flexible and could begin during winter quarter or all hours could be completed during the summer).

Send in an application letter stating:

·         your background in American and/or Modern art,
·         your interest in working at the Huntington, and
·         your career goals.

Include a copy of your unofficial transcript and curriculum vitae (your resume) as well as the name of a professor in the Department of Art History who could serve as a reference (email or visit them and ask if (s)he would be able to serve as a reference for you; there is no need for them to write a letter of recommendation for either internship or award.)
