Please check out the interview with Asian American Studies Professor Jim Lee, published in the School of Humanities Fall magazine. The article is titled, "Narratives of Being Or why Asian Americans never seem to get sick" (page 20). The theme for this quarter’s magazine is Body and Wellness.
If you are interested in taking a course with Professor Lee on this topic, Professor Lee is currently teaching graduate course AsianAm 201, Race Illness and Disease and will also offer undergraduate course AsianAm 110, Illness and Medical Narrative in Winter 2017.
