The Humanities Language Learning Program at the University of California, Irvine
invites applications for a lecturer position to teach first-year Modern Hebrew in the
2013-14 academic year. We anticipate having at least one course available for each
of the fall (9/23/13 to 12/13/13), winter (1/2/14 to 3/21/14), and spring (3/26/14
to 6/13/14) quarters. The current quarterly salary for one course is $5,746.88
(based on an annual salary of $45,975.00). If appointed to teach one course per quarter
for the academic year, the total salary will be $17,240.64.
Requirements - Ph.D. in an appropriate field of study preferred. Minimum
requirements are an M.A. in an appropriate field of study and language
