Haji Noor Deen is a world renowned calligrapher whose works have been exhibited throughout the world and recently across American universities such as Harvard (see article). Haji Noor Deen's work has been recognized by the world's highest authorities in modern Arabic calligraphy. It also speaks to the underrepresented history of Islam and Islamic arts in China. For this event, we have invited him to conduct a workshop on his style of calligraphy over the course of three days. The workshop will conclude with a reception on Thursday evening.
